Reserving parking in Anderlecht

How to apply
Send your request to the Road Signs Unit (Cellule Signalisation, Public Works) by e-mail to [email protected] or via the online form, giving the exact address, dates, reason and area. The municipality puts up and removes its own E1 signs. For a move in a parking area, even on a regional road, you do not need Osiris permission.
| When to apply | At least 10 working days before the requested date. An urgent procedure is possible up to 3 working days before (before 1 pm), at triple the price. Extensions: at least 3 working days before the end. |
| Cost | 2025-2026 rates: €125 (loading, transport, placing and removal) + €20 per 24-hour period (€10 per sign, minimum 2 signs). Extension: flat fee of €50. For a move, in principle only the loading/placing flat fee is charged: ask the municipality. |
| Who places the signs? | The municipality |
| Limits and furniture lift | Standard length 25 m for 2 signs (+25 m per repeater sign). Maximum duration 1 month, renewable. Check it is feasible (garages, public transport stops, obstacles). Furniture lift: an accepted reason for a reservation. |
| Contact | [email protected] - 02 436 66 48 (Mon-Fri 9.30 am–noon); Living Environment Department (Département Cadre de vie) 02 436 66 44 |
You always apply to the municipality yourself, not the mover: then mention the length you have reserved in your message.

How it works
- 1Describe your move, once
Route, floors, furniture, options and, if you like, up to 15 photos (rooms and access): about 3 minutes.
- 2Confirm your e-mail
One click on the link we e-mail you confirms your request. It is checked, then passed to a mover.
- 3One verified mover receives your request
They have 2 hours to accept it (counted between 8 am and 9 pm). A request confirmed between 9 pm and 8 am is passed to a mover from 8 am. If they decline or do not reply, your request goes to the next mover.
- 4You receive their quote through Movzo
They send it within 5 hours (same hours). You accept or decline it; if it does not suit you, you can ask once for another mover.
- 5You deal directly with the mover
Quote accepted: you receive their contact details and they receive yours. You agree and pay directly with them, then you leave a review after the move.
Before you move
- Parking permit: reserve the space with the municipality, at least 10 working days ahead. See how it works
- Furniture lift: from the 2nd floor without a lift, it often saves a lot of time.
- Register your address with your new municipality within 8 working days; a local police officer will visit to confirm.
- Dates: the end of the month and summer are busy. Book 4 to 6 weeks ahead.

FAQ
How much does a move cost?
The price depends on volume, floors, access, distance and options. A verified mover sends you their quote through Movzo, free of charge. For orders of magnitude, see our example prices.
Do I need a parking permit?
Usually yes: you reserve the space in front of your building with the municipality, at least 10 working days ahead. You apply yourself, not the mover.
Do the movers speak English?
Many do, especially in Brussels. Write “English please” in your message; you can also say so in the chat.
