Reserving parking on moving day

For a move in Belgium you almost always need to reserve the space in front of your building, at both addresses. Each municipality has its own procedure, notice period and price: each area page marked gives you the details in English, with the official link.

• Apply early: from a few days to more than a month ahead, depending on the municipality.
• Think of both addresses: departure and arrival (one application per municipality concerned).
• A furniture lift needs more space: allow enough length.
• You always apply to the municipality yourself, never the mover: then mention the length you have reserved in your message.
