Reserving parking in La Louvière

Parking on moving day

How to apply

You apply for an occupation of the public road (OVP) online through the city’s online counter (e-guichet, EAGLEBE tool), which also covers a parking ban for a move. Without internet access, book an appointment on 064/27.78.11. Private individuals can borrow signs from the city (régies communales, rue Bastenier 60) against a deposit and put them up themselves.

When to applyAt least 7 working days before the date of the parking ban; late requests may be refused. Signs must be placed at least 24 hours before the occupation starts.
CostPublic road occupation fee (moves included): €3.00 per m² per day for occupations under one year (2026-2031 regulation, indexed from 01/01/2027). Sign loan is free for private individuals, with a deposit of €150 per pair of signs/bases (€75 kept per missing or damaged set; deposit lost if returned late).
Who places the signs? You (or your mover)
Limits and furniture liftNo-parking zone of up to 30 metres. Sign loans only for private individuals (not companies), while stocks last; collection and return at the régies Monday-Friday, 9 am–noon and 1.30 pm–3 pm, with your own vehicle. The permit must be displayed on site; leave a 1.50 m pedestrian passage where possible. Containers, ladders, hoists and furniture lifts also need an OVP; equipment must stand in the parking zone, not on the pavement, unless an exemption is granted.

How it works

  1. 1
    Describe your move, once

Route, floors, furniture, options and, if you like, up to 15 photos (rooms and access): about 3 minutes.

  2. 2
    Confirm your e-mail

One click on the link we e-mail you confirms your request. It is checked, then passed to a mover.

  3. 3
One verified mover receives your request

They have 2 hours to accept it (counted between 8 am and 9 pm). A request confirmed between 9 pm and 8 am is passed to a mover from 8 am. If they decline or do not reply, your request goes to the next mover.

  4. 4
You receive their quote through Movzo

They send it within 5 hours (same hours). You accept or decline it; if it does not suit you, you can ask once for another mover.

  5. 5
You deal directly with the mover

Quote accepted: you receive their contact details and they receive yours. You agree and pay directly with them, then you leave a review after the move.
