Reserving parking in Liège

How to apply
In Liège, you apply for a public-road occupation permit (OVP) online only, via the Liège police zone’s EagleBe platform. Once authorised, you rent E3 no-stopping/no-parking signs from a company yourself and put them up at least 48 hours in advance, with the authorisation attached. If you have trouble with the app, each police sector has an e-mail address for help.
| When to apply | At least 8 working days before the occupation starts; E3 signs must be placed at least 48 hours beforehand. |
| Cost | Simple parking reservation: ask the municipality about the fee; signs are rented from a private company (market price). Furniture lift/hoist for a move: fee of €1.00/m²/day, minimum €15.00 per occupation (2026-2031 regulation, indexed yearly). |
| Who places the signs? | You rent the signs from a supplier |
| Limits and furniture lift | The number plates of vehicles already parked must be noted. Complex occupations (encroaching on a main traffic lane, street closure): ask the police office. |
| Contact | EagleBe platform: https://app.eaglebe.com/pre/fr-be/new/man?client=2bsSFT3YwODrIFgxln5c7DIBXtT4vrlr; help by police sector: [email protected] (Centre-Outremeuse) to [email protected] |
You always apply to the municipality yourself, not the mover: then mention the length you have reserved in your message.

How it works
- 1Describe your move, once
Route, floors, furniture, options and, if you like, up to 15 photos (rooms and access): about 3 minutes.
- 2Confirm your e-mail
One click on the link we e-mail you confirms your request. It is checked, then passed to a mover.
- 3One verified mover receives your request
They have 2 hours to accept it (counted between 8 am and 9 pm). A request confirmed between 9 pm and 8 am is passed to a mover from 8 am. If they decline or do not reply, your request goes to the next mover.
- 4You receive their quote through Movzo
They send it within 5 hours (same hours). You accept or decline it; if it does not suit you, you can ask once for another mover.
- 5You deal directly with the mover
Quote accepted: you receive their contact details and they receive yours. You agree and pay directly with them, then you leave a review after the move.
Before you move
- Parking permit: reserve the space with the municipality, at least 8 working days ahead. See how it works
- Furniture lift: from the 2nd floor without a lift, it often saves a lot of time.
- Register your address with your new municipality within 8 working days; a local police officer will visit to confirm.
- Dates: the end of the month and summer are busy. Book 4 to 6 weeks ahead.

FAQ
How much does a move cost?
The price depends on volume, floors, access, distance and options. A verified mover sends you their quote through Movzo, free of charge. For orders of magnitude, see our example prices.
Do I need a parking permit?
Usually yes: you reserve the space in front of your building with the municipality, at least 8 working days ahead. You apply yourself, not the mover.
Do the movers speak English?
Many do, especially in Brussels. Write “English please” in your message; you can also say so in the chat.
