Reserving parking in Ninove

How to apply
Apply for a public-domain occupation permit via EagleBe or by e-mailing the application form to [email protected]. This also covers a removal van or furniture lift. Once you have the permit and have paid, collect the signs yourself from the technical department (by appointment only) and put them up as set out in the permit.
| When to apply | At least 5 working days in advance (urgent procedure +€25, without guarantee); regional roads (e.g. Brusselsesteenweg): 10 working days + an extra form. |
| Cost | Occupation up to 25 m²: €20/day; above 25 m²: +€0.80 per extra m²/day. Signs: €2.50 per sign per day. Changing the permit: €50. Without a permit: €100/day (city centre) or €50/day (elsewhere) + removal costs. |
| Who places the signs? | You (or your mover) |
| Limits and furniture lift | A day started counts as a full day; an extension requires a new application. The sign loan service is for Ninove residents only. Over the year-end period, contact the Mobility department first (shopping area). No street closures in the core shopping area during the Tuesday market, 6.30 am–1.30 pm |
| Contact | Mobility department, Bevrijdingslaan 7, 054 50 50 50, [email protected]; technical department (signs) 054 50 54 00 |
You always apply to the municipality yourself, not the mover: then mention the length you have reserved in your message.

How it works
- 1Describe your move, once
Route, floors, furniture, options and, if you like, up to 15 photos (rooms and access): about 3 minutes.
- 2Confirm your e-mail
One click on the link we e-mail you confirms your request. It is checked, then passed to a mover.
- 3One verified mover receives your request
They have 2 hours to accept it (counted between 8 am and 9 pm). A request confirmed between 9 pm and 8 am is passed to a mover from 8 am. If they decline or do not reply, your request goes to the next mover.
- 4You receive their quote through Movzo
They send it within 5 hours (same hours). You accept or decline it; if it does not suit you, you can ask once for another mover.
- 5You deal directly with the mover
Quote accepted: you receive their contact details and they receive yours. You agree and pay directly with them, then you leave a review after the move.
Before you move
- Parking permit: reserve the space with the municipality, at least 5 working days ahead. See how it works
- Furniture lift: from the 2nd floor without a lift, it often saves a lot of time.
- Register your address with your new municipality within 8 working days; a local police officer will visit to confirm.
- Dates: the end of the month and summer are busy. Book 4 to 6 weeks ahead.

FAQ
How much does a move cost?
The price depends on volume, floors, access, distance and options. A verified mover sends you their quote through Movzo, free of charge. For orders of magnitude, see our example prices.
Do I need a parking permit?
Usually yes: you reserve the space in front of your building with the municipality, at least 5 working days ahead. You apply yourself, not the mover.
Do the movers speak English?
Many do, especially in Brussels. Write “English please” in your message; you can also say so in the chat.
