Reserving parking in Koekelberg

How to apply
Apply to the municipality’s Road Signs Department: online form (recommended), e-mail or phone. The municipality puts up the no-parking signs (discs) itself. If the street has no parking along the pavement, an Osiris application (osiris.brussels) is also required.
| When to apply | At least 5 working days before. Between the 5th and 3rd working day: €50 urgent surcharge. Less than 3 working days: refused. Signs are put up 2 days before the reservation. |
| Cost | 2026 rates (2026-2030 fee regulation, council of 24/11/2025): 10 m = €41 for the 1st day + €11 per extra calendar day; 15 m = €52 + €16/day; 20 m = €73 + €21/day; beyond 20 m: €5 per extra metre. Furniture lift: €24/day. Exemption for people with reduced mobility. Payment on site or by bank transfer before the permission is issued. |
| Who places the signs? | The municipality |
| Limits and furniture lift | Extension: at least 3 working days before the end. Cancellation is refunded if notified at least 3 working days in advance; no refund once the signs are up. The furniture lift is covered by the same application. Blocking the space with chairs or pallets is forbidden; obstructing vehicle: police 02 412 12 12 or 101. |

How it works
- 1Describe your move, once
Route, floors, furniture, options and, if you like, up to 15 photos (rooms and access): about 3 minutes.
- 2Confirm your e-mail
One click on the link we e-mail you confirms your request. It is checked, then passed to a mover.
- 3One verified mover receives your request
They have 2 hours to accept it (counted between 8 am and 9 pm). A request confirmed between 9 pm and 8 am is passed to a mover from 8 am. If they decline or do not reply, your request goes to the next mover.
- 4You receive their quote through Movzo
They send it within 5 hours (same hours). You accept or decline it; if it does not suit you, you can ask once for another mover.
- 5You deal directly with the mover
Quote accepted: you receive their contact details and they receive yours. You agree and pay directly with them, then you leave a review after the move.
Before you move
- Parking permit: reserve the space with the municipality, at least 5 working days ahead. See how it works
- Furniture lift: from the 2nd floor without a lift, it often saves a lot of time.
- Register your address with your new municipality within 8 working days; a local police officer will visit to confirm.
- Dates: the end of the month and summer are busy. Book 4 to 6 weeks ahead.

Usually yes: you reserve the space in front of your building with the municipality, at least 5 working days ahead. You apply yourself, not the mover.
Do the movers speak English?
Many do, especially in Brussels. Write “English please” in your message; you can also say so in the chat.
