Reserving parking in Uccle

How to apply
Download the ‘application for temporary parking permission for a move’ form from uccle.be, fill it in and e-mail it to the Parking Reservation Department ([email protected]). If you have no internet access, you can hand it in at the counter (rue de Stalle 77, 3rd floor), by appointment only. The application is only valid once you receive the permission by e-mail. The municipality puts up the E1 signs itself.
| When to apply | No later than 5 working days before the reservation starts, before noon (late applications are refused). Over 100 m or road closure: longer notice and police advice required (check with the municipality). |
| Cost | 2026 rates (incl. VAT): up to 10 m = €67 for the 1st day + €19 per extra day; 11 to 25 m = €104 for the 1st day + €30 per extra day. Any day started is charged in full (calendar days). Admin fees for changes, late extensions or cancellations. Indexed by 5% per year (2027: €71 / €20 up to 10 m). |
| Who places the signs? | The municipality |
| Limits and furniture lift | Continuous length, cannot be split. Rates also exist for 26 to 200 m and more. Extensions are free if requested 3 working days before the end; refused less than 48 hours before. No refund if the reservation is shortened. The E1 reservation does not include road occupation (furniture lift, container): separate application. On a regional road (e.g. chaussée d’Alsemberg, av. Brugmann, chaussée de Waterloo), prior Osiris permission is required for works. The applicant must check feasibility (garages, bus stops) and make sure the signs stay in place. |

How it works
- 1Describe your move, once
Route, floors, furniture, options and, if you like, up to 15 photos (rooms and access): about 3 minutes.
- 2Confirm your e-mail
One click on the link we e-mail you confirms your request. It is checked, then passed to a mover.
- 3One verified mover receives your request
They have 2 hours to accept it (counted between 8 am and 9 pm). A request confirmed between 9 pm and 8 am is passed to a mover from 8 am. If they decline or do not reply, your request goes to the next mover.
- 4You receive their quote through Movzo
They send it within 5 hours (same hours). You accept or decline it; if it does not suit you, you can ask once for another mover.
- 5You deal directly with the mover
Quote accepted: you receive their contact details and they receive yours. You agree and pay directly with them, then you leave a review after the move.
Before you move
- Parking permit: reserve the space with the municipality, at least 5 working days ahead. See how it works
- Furniture lift: from the 2nd floor without a lift, it often saves a lot of time.
- Register your address with your new municipality within 8 working days; a local police officer will visit to confirm.
- Dates: the end of the month and summer are busy. Book 4 to 6 weeks ahead.

FAQ
How much does a move cost?
The price depends on volume, floors, access, distance and options. A verified mover sends you their quote through Movzo, free of charge. For orders of magnitude, see our example prices.
Do I need a parking permit?
Usually yes: you reserve the space in front of your building with the municipality, at least 5 working days ahead. You apply yourself, not the mover.
Do the movers speak English?
Many do, especially in Brussels. Write “English please” in your message; you can also say so in the chat.
Ready to move?
